In the next two days you will be receiving ballots to ratify the contract. Read the Bargaining Tentative Agreement which includes an explanation of the article changes and new language. Additionally on Tuesday May 28th from 3 to 5pm, the CEA office we will hold a question and answer session for any member who has questions. We know it’s a quick turnaround, but we need to get the ballots back by the 30th of May.

Members are encouraged to apply to be a reviewer of the 2014 Mathematics Primary Instructional Materials Adoption of materials that are aligned to the California Common core State Standards for Mathematics (CCSSM) adopted by the SBE. We will have a special “last chance” event at the CEA office on Thursday, April 11th from 3:30pm to 5:00pm for teachers to drop off their applications.  We will also have a representative from Standard Disability Insurance available to answer questions and help you complete the necessary forms.
